M&G Group Acquires Dura-Vent

On August 31th 2010, M&G Group successfully completed the closing of the acquisition of Simpson Dura-Vent. The business will be continued under the name of M&G DuraVent.

M&G DuraVent is the leading venting company in North America with manufacturing locations in Vacaville (CA) and Albany (NY). The company has currently 55mln USD turnover and employs 350 people. DuraVent will now have full access to the product range and knowhow of the M&G Group, which will support DuraVent’s efforts in new products developments and product improvements, adding more value towards its customers. Especially in the light of the expected developments in the North American market regarding the use of energy-efficient appliances for heating and hot water.
